Terms of Service for Faith Connect

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of **Faith Connect** ("Service", "we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and commit to **Christ-like conduct** while using the platform. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Conduct

• You must be at least **16 years old** to use Faith Connect. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• You agree to uphold principles of **respect, love, and honor** in all interactions, consistent with Biblical teachings.
• **Hate speech, profanity, harassment, or inappropriate romantic advances are strictly prohibited.**
• The Service is for fellowship and spiritual growth, **not for dating or commercial solicitation.**

2. User Content & Spiritual Integrity

• You are responsible for any content you post, including discussions, prayer requests, and event listings.
• Content must be relevant to the Christian faith and must not be false, misleading, or abusive.
• You grant us a license to display and distribute your content within the Service, and we may **moderate or remove** content that violates our standards of spiritual integrity.

3. Service Accessibility & Cost

• **Faith Connect is currently provided to all users completely free of charge.** We reserve the right to introduce optional, paid features or subscriptions in the future, subject to updated Terms.
• The Service is dependent on Internet access, and you are responsible for any data or connectivity charges incurred through your use of the app.
• We strive for continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform maintenance or updates without prior notice.

4. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Once deleted:

• Your profile, group memberships, and personal messages will be permanently removed.
• Content you posted in public forums (e.g., devotionals, public prayer requests) may remain attributed to "Former User" or removed at our discretion.
• Since the service is free, there are **no associated subscriptions or credits** to recover.

5. Safety & Protection

• We maintain a **zero-tolerance policy** against exploitation, bullying, or illegal activity.
• Any user reporting threats, harm, or abuse will have their report handled with urgency. We cooperate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Do not share personal identifying information (PII) with strangers, and exercise caution when meeting people offline.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, particularly sections related to conduct and spiritual integrity. Termination may result in the permanent loss of account access and content.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided **"as is"** to help facilitate community, but we are not responsible for the content, actions, or conduct of individual users.
• We cannot guarantee that use of the Service will result in spiritual growth or that content will always be doctrinally perfect. We encourage users to verify teachings against Scripture.
• We are not liable for any damages or losses arising from your reliance on user content or disputes with other members.

8. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, with continued use of the Service signifying your agreement to the changes.
